Abstract
Chronic recurrent dislocation of the peroneal tendons is unusual. Operative intervention is occasionally indicated to control the symptoms that are caused by recurrent dislocation when the symptoms are incapacitationg. Two patients with chronic
recurrent dislocation of the peroneal tendons have been experienced at Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Capital Armed Forces General Hospital. They were men and third decades. They were treated with the use of anterior half of the peroneus
brevis
tendon for the reconstruction of the superior peroneal retinaculum(Stein's method). Postoperative results ere generally good in terms of pain relief and further undisplacement of peroneal tendons.
